will be held during this congress, such as the opening
and closing ceremony, gist speech, parallel academic
sessions, forum, film festival, different kinds of exhibitions,
academic study, etc. The parallel academic sessions

| 4 Q: What¡®s the theme
of the Indigenous Culture of the World Exhibition? |
| A: The exhibition aims
at, upon the theme of Humanity, Development and Cultural
Diversity, displaying indigenous The culture of different
areas, and exchanging the latest academic achievements
of ethnology around the world, especially the research
achievements and experience of international anthropology
during 60 years since the establishment of the International
Union of Anthropology and Ethnology Science (IUAES),
with stress on the significance of indigenous culture
in world peace and human development. |

of the Indigenous Culture of the World Exhibition? |
| A: Texts and pictures
are expected to be displayed in a museum style. |
| 6 Q: When and where is
the Indigenous Culture of the World Exhibition held? |
| A: The exhibition will
be held in Museum of Yunnan Nationalities University,
Kunming, China on15th to 23rd July 2008. |
| 7 Q: How about the space
of exhibition in the Indigenous Culture of the World
Exhibition? |
| A: The total exhibition
area covers 1000 ©O. For Chinese exhibition, 50 ©O per
unit, and for international exhibition 30 ©O per unit.

| 8 Q: What are the items
of the Indigenous Culture of the World Exhibition? |
| A: A specific aspect
is to be emphasized in a new perspective. The contents
could include origin of the ethnicity, distribution
of population, the custom of dress, food, courtesy,
marriage and family, festivals, song and dance, art,
religion and funeral, etc. for demonstration of the
harmonious coexistence and mutual development of different
ethnic groups in the world. |
| 9 Q: How to participate
in the Indigenous Culture of the World Exhibition? |
A: Any institution which
will participate in this exhibition should submit a
proposal with detailed contents and outline of the exhibition
to the Organizing Committee for the 16th International
Congress of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences
before May, 2008. As soon as the proposal is approved,
the institution will be immediately notified and expected
to send the actual exhibits along with a well-designed
pictures and texts to us before May 10th, 2008, which
will be made and displayed uniformly. The exhibition
will be designed and made by the Exhibition Group of
the Organizing Committee for the 16th International
Congress of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences.
The acceptable format for pictorial and textual exhibits
could be formatted and saved in Photoshop and then copied
onto VCD, and send them to the following address:

| 10 Q: How about the expense
of the Indigenous Culture of the World Exhibition? |
| A: The exhibition will
be designed and made by the Exhibition Group of the
Organizing Committee for the 16th International Congress
of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences. One or
two persons from your institution will be invited to
this exhibition as guests, for whom we will be responsible
for accommodation except for the travel expense. |
